I believe your location on the map is wrong / not where it was actually built. The map is showing 50°18’53.0″N 105°39’35.7″W I have in the past seen it marked at 50°20’00.0″N 105°43’00.0″W which is closer but also wrong. Sorry this is in a different coordinate format, but I believe if you put the marker here it would be correct 50.325225894672016, -105.69663860270731 (50°19’30.8″N 105°41’47.9″W). This location is about 1.5 miles south of where my wife grew up, and I remember in the late 1970’s there was still a hanger there that a farmer used for a shop. I have a screen shot of an older satellite view where the outline of the old triangle runway is clearer, but it is still visible in the current 2023 version if you use the pin above as the south-east corner of the triangle. I can send you the screen shot if you would like.

could you send me the screen shot, where you suspect the airfield was?
