- There is also some mention of a second relief landing field at Emma Lake. Scott Woroniuk and myself have looked into this and believe that Emma Lake was used unofficially as a temporary runway during spring thaw, a period that would have left the main runway unusable due to the turf field. The use of the lake is mentioned several times in the springs of 1941 and 1942. Otherwise, I have not found any information on this field.

Hi have a list of aircraft flown in Feb-March 1941 by Don Barber at the PA school if you want. He later flew with 260 in North Africa and 440 in Northern Europe.
I would love to receive a copy of this list. I will send you an email.
Morning, I sent the PA and Dauphin logs to you, check your spam folder, some sites do not like my email.
I am looking for employment information on P.J. Smith who was a civilian Morse Code instructor at #6. Any suggestions?
