Site Evolution:

  • The Publication On Track…the Pilot’s Air Travel Guide (First Annual Edition – 1978) lists the Aerodrome as “Butress – Lat:50 15N – Long:105 33W – GMT-6 – 72NE,72SE,E-16 – Abandoned”

Current Status:  abandoned N50 15 W105 33; all runways still exist, no buildings

    there’s a marker in my pasture that people from the base sometimes come and dig it up. I’d like to know what it’s for. It’s connected to the buttress relief airport. I am interested in history
