I’m looking for information from 1953. My dad Franklin Bruce Harvey was stationed there for training, I have his service number if that would help . He is deceased. He told us that he marched in the parade for Queen Elizabeth’s coronation. I’m looking for a picture or some kind of proof that he was there. He said the Queen came to inspect the troops. Any help would be appreciated

Good luck with your search. I have been looking for information about the RCAF training programme at St Jean but have come up with nothing.
I am sorry I can’t help you. I was in the training in October 1954 – as was my future husband. He passed away four weeks ago – we had 68 years
of marriage.
