    I recognized the name “Konarski” right away. It is most likely from 1944 because Sgt SF Konarski served with the RAF Squadron 103 as a Navigator and involved in an early morning accident on the runway in Lancaster RF-193, coded PM-G with another Lancaster on April 11, 1945 at Sandtoft. Here’s info from another website which names other Canadians as well .

    “PA217 PM-Z took off from base at 1828 on 10th. Landed back at 0311. Parked at dispersal and the engines were shut down, when RF193, which had landed at 0316, taxied into the rear of PA217.

    RF193 had taken off at 1819 on 10th. Crew;
