My Father was stationed in PEI with The RAF October1940 to November 1944 /as an instructor his rank LAC Eric H. Parry wireless operator /airgunner he was transferred to Canada from RAF St Athan.Do you have any information. Thanks John Parry .
My uncle, Laurier Poissant, was retained in Canada as an instructor at No. 5 EFTS Lethbridge, AB; No. 7 SFTS Fort MacLeod, AB and No. 5 EFTS High River, AB after which he spent August ’44 to Jan ’45 at No. 1 General Reconnaissance School at Summerside, PEI. He was then posted to No. 3 OTU Patricia Bay, BC for Jan – Apr then to No. 7 Bomber Reconnaissance Squadron at Alliford Bay, BC on anti-submarine patrol until the end of the war.
