I could not find Sioux Lookout on the fb group. The Map location you show is for RCAF Station Ramore.

The coordinates for Sioux Lookout are: 50°04’59.8″N 91°59’51.4″W

Thank you for reaching out. I will look into correcting the location ASAP. Sorry about that. Everything on this site is a work in progress and I have built what is here in approximately 1.5 years… I will add improving this page to my short list. Please check back.

There were no pmq on the station just the trailer Court. I can see our trailer in the pic if that was 71.
I am trying to find out what happened to the guest book from the WO and Sgts mess. My Dad carved the crest in leather.

Apparently the story my mother tells me is that I was the first white baby born in the local hospital. March 1973

Can’t remember the year it burned down but my Junior Ranks plaque was all burnt.

What really happened to the Radar station after it closed . Went there in late 1980’s almost all was destroyed . Did the town ever use the place for building ?
