    I had a relative who was at No 8 Repair Depot in 1944. His name was W/C R.J. Beaumont and I have a silver-plated serving tray with the insciption “Presented to W/C and Mrs R.J. Beaumont from the members of Sgts. Mess No8 Repair Depot R.C.A.F. 1944.”

    Can you tell me anything more about him? His name was Robin but I knew of him as Uncle Bob, my great Uncle, and I met him once in 1968 when he was about 90, when he lived in Vancouver.
