RCAF Station Macleod
Note: On this page and others on RCAF.info you will find that the spelling for “Macleod” is often “MacLeod” this has been pointed out as being incorrect. Implementing this change will take time, and will likely never be fully implemented. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.

This is a nitpick for your info; MacLeod is actually spelt with a lower case “l” Macleod.
Well this one is an issue. I am not sure if the time it will take to correct it is truly worth the effort, search engines are normally blind to capitalization. I will have to think about this one. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

My husband’s maternal grandfather, Ingvi Johnson, a warrant officer in the RCAF, (according to Family tradition was the Superintendant of Construction for the RCAF aerodromes in southern Alberta). We have no formal records of this. If anyone can tell us where we should search, we’d greatly appreciate it.
