- This issue is located in the station Daily Diary on Canadiana between the August and September 1941 Daily Diary. The issue is not referenced in the august Daily Diary and the only reference that this is “No 1” is the had written “No 1” on the cover. - A second copy of this issue was included in the Daily Diary, for some unknown reason. The first page of the second copy can be found at https://heritage.canadiana.ca/view/oocihm.lac_reel_c12359/788
- Though there is a “No 1” hand written on the cover a examination of the articles in the publication seem to indicate this was the October 1941 issue published on 9 October 1941. The dates in this issue show that it was published sometime around the 9th of October both in the dates of past and upcoming events.
- There is mention of an issue of “The W.A.G. Signal” being published on the date of 9 October 1941, 900 issued published.
