  1. Graham Falconer

My father, Charles Stewart Falconer, was a wireless operator in the RAF and was seconded to the 52 Group RCAF in early 1944. He landed with them on D Day plus 2 and went all the way through to Luneburg in 1945. I have pictures of them in Normandy, in the Eindhoven hospital and at Rheine Hopsten airfield where they took pictures of destroyed ME 262s. After the war we kept in touch with a Jewish family who they had rescued in Eindhoven. Sadly the girl was killed in a kibutz on the first day of the the 6 day war in Israel/Palestine. The 2 boys born after the war were named after two Canadian medics. My father died in 1991
