I have my father, John W.M. Furley’s logbook from his training in this SFTS from Jan to May 1942. The logbook details all his instructors (First Pilot) and commanding officers. Very interested to share this and exchange more info if it is available.

      Hi Andrew,

I’ve been asked if I could track down the career of one of the instructors, F/O W R Asheton and we have mentions of him up to end of October 1941.

So it would be interesting to know if he is mentioned in your fathers logbook after that date.

      Thanks and Regards,

      Kevin Charles
