Hello, James Bond Producer Harry Saltzman was trained in the “No 4 Initial Training School”. He was Air Force Nr. RI33257, and his enlistment was effective on Oct 1, 1941. As he suggested several times to establish an Air Force “Press”, than flying himself, he was muted to “Ground Service” on April 23, 1942, because of a complication in his stomach. I do hope that someone of his colleagues at that time were keen in the 1960s to actually document their memories, I’d love to know about it.
