I have a photo of my uncle, Jack A. Radford, upon his graduation from #1 Observer school, September 11, 1942. He was top of his class, and winner of Skyways Trophy award. Jack was commissioned the same day, survived the war after months as P.O.W. at Stalag Luft 3.
