Posted to: No. 7 Bombing and Gunnery School in Paulson, Manitoba, Canada.

Particulars of death: Mid air collision with Lysander aircraft.  Sgt Lowe was piloting Fairey Battle – 1962 with LAC Duncan, LAC Lambert when they came down in front of Lysander – 2389 that was being piloted by Sgt Ogden.  The lysander sheared the tail off of the Battle sending the Battle out of control into Lake Dauphin.  The lysander, though damaged was able to attempt a landing unfortunately the aircraft lost control, crashed and burned. The only survivor of the crashes was LAC R.E. Smith who escaped uninjured.

Place of Internment:  He is intered in the Riverside Cemetery, Dauphin, Manitoba, Canada.
