Particulars of death:
- Died in an aircraft crash. The Operational Record Book doesn’t list which aircraft he was flying at the time of the crash but it was either Crane 7747 or Crane 7756. Both of these aircraft where destroyed in this incident. The pilot of the other Crane was LAC Geoffrey Herbert Weston Hamilton also of the Royal New Zealand Air Force who was also killed in the crash. Further research is required.
